כשאני חוזר בלילה מסרטי קולנוע חדשים אני מפרסם בפייסבוק רצף מחשבות אקראיות על הסרט שראיתי עכשיו. הפעם: Star Wars: The Force Awakens. הרשומה נכתבה במקור באנגלית וכך נשארה.
They just keep using that "starkiller" name, aren't they?
All the shock moments of the movie were pretty obvious, other then Ren being Han and Leia's son – although with that they're keeping with the Expended Universe plotline.
Rey finding the lightsaber, Ren killing Han – that was a mirroring to the scene on Episode 4 with Obi-Wan's death.
A lot of the move was created to mirror the first one- for the best, I think.
Wow they make Mark Hamill looks a hell of a lot better than I've seen him in public the last few years.
I like the fact the villain is conflicted and is still in training.
Daisy Ridley looks like Satele Shan, and can she please have a saber-staff in the following movies? She already fights with a staff! Thanks.
I could've done without the "force mind-rape" scene, with Ren telling Rey he "can have whatever he wants".
Who was the "old friend" from the beginning?
They made Star Wars look real, which non of the other 6 movie did. The originals look like they're using sets and puppets- which they are, and for their time was a great innovation. And the prequels looks like CGI. Must of this film looked real.
I just watch 4-6 before going to see it (like, in the 9 hours before), and I loved that 7 approached the Force like the originals. It is powerful, it is influential, it guides people. In the prequels (despite that I like them), the force is kind of a throwaway thing to explain unexplained stuff. It lacks gravitas!
That's it for now. Really waiting for 8 now…
Oh, and the First Order are literally Nazi. That made me laugh.
I'm pretty sure that Rey is Luke's daughter.
